‘What skills do instrumentation technicians need in Malawi?’ The EU funded STEP programme brought together industry practitioners in this field to answer this question and to develop and validate an occupational profile. This was part of a DACUM process (development of curriculum) for instrumentation. The information will now be used to develop a comprehensive curriculum for stage 4 instrumentation engineers at TEVET colleges. Through this and other activities STEP is working to improve the quality and relevance of TEVET in Malawi. #TechnicalEducationNow#Skills4future #Step #Unesco #EUinMalawi
